This books is not just about the the last Mughal king Bahadur Shah Zafar, but is all about what happened in 1857 in and around Delhi and also around Red Fort. How last Mughal King Bahadur Shah Zafar were send to Myanmar and what happened to him during his Rangoon days where he died later in 7 November 1862 (aged 87) Rangoon.

Book start with Bharat of son of Bahadurshah Zafar in Chandani chowk in 2-April-1852. This books draw complete picture and events happened during 1857 around Delhi, while reading reader will find himself connected with those events. Writer has given reference to various letters, news paper articles, official entries of Red Forts, office of Thomas Metcalfe etc. Writer has printed such material directly in book. Presenting artifacts is wonderful and make material trustworthy.

Once i was going to nehru place in new delhi. On traffic signal near Paras cinema hall i see that two young boys of age group of 8-10 year were carrying water in bottles on paperboard. when they crossed the road then 5-7 boys and girl rush to take their water bottle. I see that they were carrying only 4 bottles but they were more then 10 to claim bottles. So they start quarreling.
