So, we are going to MARS, before that let us see what we are ? Because before knowing anything, know yourself first.

We are Calibrated to Earth's Atmosphere. The existence and function of human beings rely on the specific atmospheric pressure and composition found on Earth:

Respiration and Blood Oxygen: 

The atmospheric pressure at sea level is necessary to create the partial pressure gradient that allows oxygen to diffuse efficiently from the lungs (alveoli) into the blood (capillaries). At very low pressure (e.g., high altitude or on Mars), oxygen saturation (SpO$_{2}$) decreases, leading to hypoxia and altitude sickness.

Body Cavity Pressure: 

The pressure inside the body (in the sinuses, ears, and blood vessels) is regulated to equalize with the outside atmospheric pressure. If the external pressure drops too quickly (as in space or extreme high altitude), internal pressures can cause tissues to expand, leading to nosebleeds, burst eardrums, or even the rupture of blood vessels if uncontained.

Sound Transmission: 

Speech relies on the dense, nitrogen/oxygen-rich atmosphere as a medium. In a vacuum or a thin atmosphere (like Mars, which has a pressure less than ( 1%  of Earth's), spoken sound waves cannot travel, making vocal communication impossible .

The materials that form the human body and the processes that keep us alive are directly sourced from Earth's crust and biosphere:

Humans are "superorganisms" who rely on trillions of microbes (bacteria, fungi) that inhabit our gut, skin, and mucosal surfaces. These microbes, largely acquired from our environment, soil, and diet, are crucial for digestion, immune system development, and vitamin production. A sterile, artificial environment on another planet would necessitate recreating an entire functional, life-sustaining microbiome.

Conclusion

Human body is earth only. And we are over 8 billion of people. 

There is no planet B. We have only one earth, try if we can save environment.
